Marc Mathekowitsch Appointed Chairman of the Coque Board of Directors

From October 2017, Marc Mathekowitsch will be the new chairman of the board of directors of the National Sporting and Cultural Centre the Coque.

Upon reflection of the proposal made by Luxembourg Minister of Sport Romain Schneider, the governing board decided on 1 September 2017 to appoint Marc Mathekowitsch to the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Coque.

Marc Mathekowitsch, Honorary Director-General of the Ministry of Sports and current Vice-President of the Centre, will succeed Robert Schuler, who resigns on 1 October 2017 as a member and President of the Coque due to personal reasons, to complete his term of office until 31 July 2020.
