Luxembourg finance minister, Pierre Gramegna, is in Singapore for a mission to promote the financial market and in particular the fund industry and to strengthen the links between the two countries.

In this context, the minister will attend a seminar organised by the Luxembourg Association of the Investment Fund Industry (ALFI) today. The Minister of Finance will also have a working meeting with his counterpart, Minister Lawrence Wong, as well as interviews with senior financial sector officials.

Minister Gramegna will then travel to Australia, where he will attend seminars in Melbourne and Sydney organised by ALFI as part of his "Road Show". He will also have a working meeting with the Australian minister of finance in Melbourne, as well as interviews with high level representatives of the economic and financial world, with the aim of strengthening relations between the two countries.
