A two-days workshop on Histories and Practices of Multi-Channel Sound Reproduction will take place on Thursday 2 and Friday 3 February starting at 10.00, organised by the Luxembourg Centre for Contemporary and Digital History (C2DH) of the University of Luxembourg.
This workshop has two objectives: First, it aims at contributing to the (still limited) historiography of stereophony. Second, the workshop wants to promote a hands-on approach in the study of sound (and other media) technologies.
The workshop will take place on Belval Campus, in the DH lab of Maison des Sciences Humaines (11 porte des Sciences, L-4366 Esch-sur-Alzette).
